Interakt Pricing in India: Plans & Message Costs (2026)

Interakt pricing in India: plans and WhatsApp message costs

Interakt’s India WhatsApp plans include Growth at ₹2,799 a month and Advanced at ₹3,799, plus taxes and message charges. Starter’s ₹999 monthly option covers Instagram only; WhatsApp is available on its quarterly or yearly option. Budget for the subscription, chargeable templates and any separately agreed add-ons before choosing a plan.

Last reviewed: October 3, 2026. Prices below are Interakt’s public INR displays, not a negotiated quote. This guide explains one vendor’s bill. For vendor selection, use our Interakt alternatives guide.

Interakt subscription prices in India

The official Interakt pricing page separates monthly, quarterly and yearly billing. These are the displayed subscription totals for each term, before taxes and WhatsApp usage:

  • Starter: ₹999 per month for Instagram only; ₹3,499 per quarter or ₹11,999 per year with a choice of WhatsApp or Instagram.
  • Growth: ₹2,799 per month, ₹7,699 per quarter or ₹26,399 per year. Includes WhatsApp and Instagram.
  • Advanced: ₹3,799 per month, ₹10,499 per quarter or ₹35,999 per year. Includes WhatsApp and Instagram.
  • Enterprise: price on request. Get the billing term, channel scope and usage terms in writing.

Do not compare ₹999 with a WhatsApp subscription: the monthly Starter card is an Instagram product. For a WhatsApp trial that needs monthly billing, evaluate Growth against your actual requirements. A quarterly price is a three-month commitment, not a monthly invoice.

Taxes are extra on the displayed plans. Before paying, confirm the tax amount, renewal price, cancellation terms and whether a change of plan produces a credit or a new commitment. A monthly equivalent can help internal budgeting, but it does not change when payment is due.

Which plan covers your workflow?

Starter’s WhatsApp option covers bulk campaigns, a shared inbox and simple greeting or out-of-office replies. It can suit a team whose workflow is straightforward and which accepts quarterly or yearly billing. Its public card lists unlimited agents in owner roles; that is not the same as giving every colleague a restricted sales role.

Growth adds FAQ automation, linear chatbot flows, advanced campaigns, catalogs, native payments and public APIs. Use it as the first evaluation point when you need a sequence of customer interactions rather than only broadcasts and replies.

Advanced adds branching chatbot flows, conditions, API calls, chat auto-assignment and advanced webhooks. Ask the team to demonstrate your real routing rule: for example, assigning an enquiry to an agent based on a customer field. Paying for a feature name is not proof that the intended workflow is configured.

The Growth and Advanced cards list unlimited agents, but the page excludes Sales CRM roles from that inclusion. Confirm the roles you need before treating the seat bill as zero. Also check integration scope: the page marks Shopify integration as included on the Shopify plan, so a standard subscription price alone is not a Shopify quote.

If your buying question is whether WhatsApp and email should share a retention workflow, that is a separate fit decision from choosing an Interakt tier.

WhatsApp message charges are separate

The Interakt country rate card lists these INR amounts for Indian recipients. The order below is marketing, utility, then domestic authentication:

  • Starter: ₹0.970, ₹0.160 and ₹0.129 per message.
  • Growth: ₹0.958, ₹0.150 and ₹0.128 per message.
  • Advanced: ₹0.949, ₹0.140 and ₹0.127 per message.

These are Interakt’s published rates, not a claim about Meta’s base prices. Do not add Meta’s base fee again unless your contract explicitly separates it from the provider rate. International recipients have different rates, and authentication-international is a separate rate-card column.

Meta’s current pricing documentation charges for delivered messages, not merely attempted sends. The applicable market and message category matter. A marketing offer is not a utility message just because it goes to an existing customer. Meta also maintains a general business pricing overview; use the dated developer documentation for the October rules.

From October 1, 2026, Meta provides 1,000 free delivered service messages per business phone number each month, then charges for further service messages. Utility templates inside the open 24-hour customer service window are also chargeable. The window controls permission to send non-template replies, not unlimited free usage. Eligible free-entry-point traffic and specific waivers have separate rules; utility and authentication volume tiers can affect charges. Our WhatsApp Business API pricing guide provides broader budgeting context; use the current official rules for a quote.

Interakt’s page displays service charges after the first 1,000 free service messages. That is consistent with the existence of Meta’s new monthly free tier, not evidence of a contradiction. Ask Interakt for your account’s current service-message rate, included allowance and provider-fee treatment. Keep that usage separate in the forecast instead of assuming every reply is free.

A worked monthly budget, not a quote

Suppose a team uses monthly Growth and delivers 10,000 chargeable marketing templates plus 2,000 chargeable utility templates to Indian numbers. Assume all these messages are billable, none qualifies for a free-entry-point exemption, and the displayed provider rates apply without account-specific discounts.

  • Growth subscription: ₹2,799.
  • Marketing usage: 10,000 × ₹0.958 = ₹9,580.
  • Utility usage: 2,000 × ₹0.150 = ₹300.
  • Illustrative subtotal: ₹12,679 before taxes and extras.

This is not an invoice prediction. It excludes authentication, service-message usage, AI usage, Sales CRM seats, implementation and other agreed extras. Do not add a guessed amount for any of those. Request a written quote and use delivered, billable message counts rather than the size of your contact database.

For a useful forecast, export last month’s message categories and recipient countries. Separate marketing, utility, authentication and service usage, account for eligible free allowances, then add your planned campaigns. A list of 10,000 contacts does not automatically create 10,000 billable messages each month.

What to confirm before buying or renewing

  1. The exact product: Marketing & Support Hub, Sales CRM, AI Agents or a Shopify-specific plan. A price shown on one product tab does not establish another product’s entitlement.
  2. The subscription: INR amount, billing term, taxes, renewal terms and the WhatsApp numbers covered.
  3. The usage schedule: recipient markets, template categories, volume tiers, wallet funding and treatment of failed or undelivered messages.
  4. Service-message billing: confirm the monthly free tier, the applicable account rate after it is used, and any separate provider fees. Request a sample invoice.
  5. The extras: required CRM roles, AI allowance and overage, onboarding, integrations and support. The public page presents AI pricing in several places; use the specific product quote rather than combining unrelated cards.
  6. The acceptance test: run a campaign, process a reply, trigger the required automation and reconcile the usage export with billing before committing to a longer term.

If you are also testing cross-channel journeys, CampaignHQ is a Meta Tech Provider offering email and WhatsApp retention automation, with AWS as supporting infrastructure. Bring the same workflow and message-volume assumptions to a demo. The decision should be about execution and fit, not a claim that one subscription is universally cheaper.

Frequently asked questions

1. Is ₹999 Interakt’s monthly WhatsApp price?

No. The monthly Starter card covers Instagram only. The quarterly and yearly Starter cards offer a choice of one channel, including WhatsApp. Check the selected billing tab before purchasing.

2. Does the subscription include unlimited free WhatsApp messages?

No. “Unlimited messages” in a plan limit is not a waiver of message charges. Interakt lists template rates separately. Ask which messages are billable under your account terms and which are free under Meta’s rules.

3. Does paying yearly remove message charges?

No. The yearly amount is the platform subscription for that term. Forecast usage separately and confirm any negotiated allowances in the order form.

4. Can I treat an Indian company’s entire audience at India rates?

No. Message rates depend on the recipient market, not simply where the business is registered. Split an international audience by destination before estimating usage.

5. What should finance request before approving the bill?

Request the selected plan and term, tax breakdown, current account rate card, delivered-message report by category and country, and a separate list of extras. Confirm service-message allowances and the rate after they are used before approving an all-in budget.
